Titanic!

Yay I'm back for the post about my Titanic Exhibition trip with my bby!

Titanic Titanic.. is the song ' my heart will goes on' playing on your head right now?
Although I'm interested in Titanic is because of the movie that Leonardo Dicarprio acted in, I'm really curious about the real stories | real objects . So, when I knew that there's an exhibition for Titanic's 100th Aniversary, I was really excited and looked forward to go with my bby!

And finally, we decided to visit the ArtScienceMuseum on Sat! It was my first time visiting the museum @mbs! It started to drizzle when we reached mbs and we were forced to run to the entrance of the museum. Ughhh it was really shacked to run in my skirt and boots! Luckily it was just a short distance between the mbs entrance and the museum's.

Quite a sum of people were queuing when we reached there but it was quite fast though, soon it was our turn. Bought tickets, each for S$20! Afterwards, we took the lift down to B2 where the exhibition is held. The building is quite high(for me) and I did not dare to look out(the lift is transparent) lol I have Acrophobia T_T

People were busy taking photos outside the gallery haha taking turns to take photos!

Before entering the gallery, the person gave us our boarding pass! It was so real, as if we were really boarding on the WhiteStarLine R.M.S TITANIC ≧◡≦ we got to take photos with the Titanic as background too by the photographer there!

My boarding pass!
I'm Mrs. Sam Aks(Leah Rosen) sailing from London, England
I'm sailing to America to reunite with my husband hehehe
oh I'm a Third Class passenger!

As we entered the gallery, we first saw the history of Titanic, how it was made, by what etc... And of course we get to see the First Class Stateroom. It was really luxurious with the bed, desk and lamps! Quite similar to the movie, Titanic! However, the Third Class Stateroom was totally different! There were two double deck beds in a small room! I could see that the blankets and pillows are really different. There are boards stating how much was a ticket for a first class and third class passenger! If I'm not wrong, the ticket for the first class is priced at US$57,000 omg.

After viewing those chinas, plates, notes, we stepped out of the gallery to the 'deck' . The decorated wall, with dark blue with sparkles, are like the stars up upon the dark sky and as we look down from the barrier, there is 'flowing water'!! The lights shine down on the cloth with effects, it looks so real! As we leaned against the barrier, it was as if we were on the ship~ (this is the best)

There's an Iceberg Gallery! We were able to touch a real sheet of ice and experience the freeeeezing waters of the North Atlantic! As we all know, the icebergs caused the Titanic to sink! We also get to see the stuffs that they found under the sea where Titanic sank. There were so much more!! I can't possibly write it all here! You must must must visit the exhibition at the ArtScienceMuseum!!

Bby managed to take a quick shot of The Grand Staircase!
This is where the First Class passengers gathered
ALSO in the movie,
where Jack and Rose 'meet' again after Rose dies~
awwww my favorite scene in the gallery!

There is also a Memorial Gallery whereby the names the passengers are listed! We were looking for our 'names' and check if we survived lol it was really fun! And I SURVIVED^^ means this lady get to reunite with her husband along with her ten months old child? \ ˚▽˚ / YAY. So we ended our exhibition here!!!

WE WERE FREAKING HUNGRY(DIDN'T HAVE OUR LUNCH) We walked around mbs and decided to go cine for fooooooooood. Ate Burger King :p My BK Spicy chicken doubleshot weeee. After filling up our stomach, we shopped around at flea! But it rained again ..... -_- So, we waited for the rain to stop and walked around at cine~

At around 7++, we went Charlie Brown Cafe to chilllllllll (─‿‿─) and I saw a friend working there haha! Chit chatting with bby<3 it was a great night! A memorable one!
